Class ended at noon today. We had lunch with our DBIC project group at a Halal restaurant next to our hotel before heading back to the hotel lobby to discuss on our project. We decided on the industry to work on and split the work among ourselves. We then went back to our rooms to refresh ourselves before leaving for our first company visit.
14:30 PM Shanghai Classic Industrial and Commercial Development Co. Ltd
It took us almost an hour to Shanghai Classic Industrial and Commercial Development Co. Ltd. We were given a tour around the factory production line. It was my first time seeing such manual work done by staff.
We left the company at about 4 PM…Traffic Jam!

We returned back at the hotel at 4:30 PM and did some research on places to go to before heading out. We met Robin and Harish on our way towards the metro station. They decided to join us for dinner.
18:05 PM 大世界 Dashijie Station
We took the metro to 大世界 Dashijie Station. We managed to find 佳家汤包 after asking the locals there. While ordering our food, Robin told us that Harish is a vegetarian! He had nothing to eat from the restaurant…
We took a stroll along 淮海路, looking at the branded shops along the way.
We decided to walk to 新天地. We got lost after walking 2 streets.
Trying to find out where we were and where 新天地 is. We asked around and realised that we were walkingin the opposite direction.We made a u-turn and walked back.
20:05 PM 新天地 XinTianDi
We had Green Tea Frapocinno and Red Bean Scone at Starbucks.
Dropped by 新天地 Shopping Centre before heading back to the hotel.
