Date:<\/strong> 14 March 2015 Saturday to 16 March 2015 Monday<\/p>\n

Day 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had a 3D2N short trip to Kuala Lumpur with one of JR’s friends over the weekend in March 2015. Since we were driving to Malaysia, my parents tagged along with us but only up to Melaka. We dropped my parents off at Merlimau, had our lunch there and left for KL. This is going to be a simple post because I didn’t bring along my camera in this trip and took photos with my phone, which explains the poorer quality of the photos. And also JR’s friend, Nick, was our tour guide in this trip, hence I didn’t know where we went! We just followed Nick’s car in KL.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Checked into the hotel and found 2 single beds in our room again! Why do JR & I always get single beds? We didn’t change the room in the end because the room was connected to Nick’s room.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We had this yummy black mee from the food court in one of the shopping centres.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And this pork bun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our family photo<\/p>\n

We managed to put R in the baby cot. She must be exhausted from all the traveling.<\/p>\n

Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We had Bak Kut Teh for lunch the next day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our first time trying dry BKT.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Onion Rice was very fragrant.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

R almost finished a bowl of rice by herself.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Went to an indoor playground so the kids could run around.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Had waffle ice-cream from Madame Waffle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dinner was at My Burger Lab cafe.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The burgers were fabulous. Highly recommended! We went shopping at Pavilion after dinner before calling it a day.<\/p>\n

Day 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Soon it was time to leave KL! We had to return to Melaka to pick my parents.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Stopped by Jonker Street for late lunch before going to Merlimau. Had Nyonya food at Kocik Kitchen. We were lucky to find seats there easily.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A must-have in Melaka – Ice Cendol!<\/p>\n

We picked my parents from Merlimau after lunch and drove back to Singapore.<\/p>\n
