10:40 AM Leaving Richmond Hotel Nagasaki<\/strong><\/p>\n

Checked out of the hotel and we drove to a nearby mall for brunch.<\/p>\n

11:00 AM Coco Walk Shopping Mall<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Ice cream on a cold day…<\/p>\n

12:15 PM Nagasaki Bomb Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A trip to Nagasaki will not be complete without visiting the Nagasaki Bomb Museum. We finally found the museum and found a parking space nearby. The area seemed a little too quiet that morning.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was until we walked to the entrance of the museum then we realised that it was closed from 29 Dec onwards for the New Year! A wasted trip!<\/p>\n

12:35 PM Peace Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We went back to the car and drove on to the nearby Peace Park.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Fountain of Peace<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Locals leaving pails & bottles of water as offerings to the atomic bomb victims who died of thirst.<\/p>\n

13:20 PM Penguin Aquarium<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Next up was the Penguin Aquarium. It was added into our itinerary because R loves aquariums.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Look out for the fish!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Up close with the penguins.<\/p>\n

15:50 PM Hotel Chisun Inn Tosu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We checked into another budget hotel in Tosu which is one of the hotels near to the Tosu Premium Outlets. The room is equally small as compared to the one we stayed in Nagasaki.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

16:30 PM Tosu Premium Outlets<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We spent the rest of the day shopping at the Premium Outlets.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We had ramen from Ippudo for dinner at the food court. Initially wanted to have dinner at one of the restaurants there but everything was sold out. No more curry, no more eggs, etc.<\/p>\n
