10:30 AM Kumamoto Castle<\/strong><\/p>\n

R was feeling much better after a night of rest. We checked out from our room and left the hotel to explore Kumamoto Castle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A long walk in the morning to Kumamoto Castle.<\/p>\n

\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our tickets<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Kumamoto Castle is very impressive. We wondered how much time was required for the residents of the castle to move around the castle previously. As our schedule was tight, we decided to visit the main castle. Climbed all the way up to the top.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Leaving Kumamoto Castle for a nearby Shopping Mall for lunch.<\/p>\n

12:30 PM Lunch @ Sho-Yo<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Decided to have lunch at Sho-Yo.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

R’s lunch. So cute.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Drove across the railway tracks on the way to Tosu Premium Outlets.<\/p>\n

Tosu Premium Outlets<\/strong><\/p>\n

We decided to stop by at the outlets for a “sneak preview” before our actual shopping tomorrow.<\/p>\n

19:40 PM Richmond Hotel Nagasaki<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We checked into Richmond Hotel Nagasaki after a long drive from the outlets to Nagasaki.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This was the smallest hotel room we had ever stayed in! There wasn’t much space for R to run about.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

R got a toiletries bag from the hotel again.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The lobby was empty when we left the hotel for dinner.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We explored the area around the hotel but couldn’t make up our minds on what to have for dinner. Most of the restaurants do not have English menus so it was difficult to know what they have to offer. Also, the street didn’t look safe with people smoking and drinking along the road. We went back to the hotel restaurant for dinner. It was full but lucky for us, the counter seats were available.<\/p>\n

20:30 PM Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The meal was great! BUT R was fussy throughout the meal, perhaps because she wasn’t feeling well. She kept throwing tantrums and screaming every now and then. It was a little embarrassing and everyone kept looking at us during the meal.<\/p>\n

Leaving the hotel for Mount Inasa.<\/p>\n

22:30 PM Mount Inasa<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We arrived at the foot of Mount Inasa and followed a car to a car park. After about 5 minutes of walking up the hill towards the top, we realised that cars are allowed to drive up. We saw some cars queuing at the entrance of the hill and returned back to our car. However, it took us a while to drive up and park our car because the car park at the peak was full. We were lucky that we drove up in the end as the roads up to the peak was dark and winding.<\/p>\n
