Sun Moon Lake is about a minute walk from Cherng Yuan Hotel. The 3 of us took a walk along the lake after breakfast.<\/p>\n

The GPS and Google map showed different routes to our next destination, Lavender Cottage \u00e8\u2013\u00b0\u00e8\u00a1\u00a3\u00e8\u008d\u2030\u00e6\u00a3\u00ae\u00e6\u017e\u2014. We decided to follow Google map since the route is shorter but were led to narrow village roads. It looked dangerous and difficult to drive our big vehicle through the village. JR gave up after some time and we drove out of the village and followed the GPS. We finally arrived at our destination after about 2 hours of driving.<\/p>\n

I was quite disappointed with Lavender Cottage \u00e8\u2013\u00b0\u00e8\u00a1\u00a3\u00e8\u008d\u2030\u00e6\u00a3\u00ae\u00e6\u017e\u2014. I had expected a larger farm. The park is small, too commercialized and also too crowded.<\/p>\n

17:00 PM Kun Hotel @ Taichung \u00e5\u008f\u00b0\u00e4\u00b8\u00ad<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Kun Hotel is about an hour drive from Lavender Cottage \u00e8\u2013\u00b0\u00e8\u00a1\u00a3\u00e8\u008d\u2030\u00e6\u00a3\u00ae\u00e6\u017e\u2014. We would be staying in this hotel for the next 2 nights.<\/p>\n

18:30 PM Miyahara \u00e5\u00ae\u00ae\u00e5\u017d\u0178\u00e7\u0153\u00bc\u00e7\u00a7\u2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miyahara, is an eye clinic built by a Japanese optometrist during the Japanese occupation. It is a popular ice cream joint now and Dawn Cake \u00e6\u2014\u00a5\u00e5\u2021\u00ba\u00e8\u203a\u2039\u00e7\u00b3\u2022 stores situated in the hospital building sells pineapple tarts, cheese cake and etc.<\/p>\n

21:00 PM Fengchia Night Market \u00e9\u20ac\u00a2\u00e7\u201d\u00b2\u00e5\u00a4\u0153\u00e5\u00b8\u201a<\/strong><\/p>\n

We popped over to Fengchia Night Market \u00e9\u20ac\u00a2\u00e7\u201d\u00b2\u00e5\u00a4\u0153\u00e5\u00b8\u201a. It is one of the best night markets in our Taiwan trip. We couldn’t finish exploring the entire night market. Too much good food for our “little” tummies.<\/p>\n
