The Arc de Triomphe de l&#8217;\u00c3\u2030toile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, located in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, just above the Charles de Gaulle &#8211; \u00c3\u2030toile Station.\u00c2\u00a0 We didn&#8217;t stay too long admiring the landmark since we were running late for our afternoon tea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>16:30 PM Le Bar Long @ Le Royal Monceau<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lowsweetling.com\/mylife\/wp-content\/photos\/2013\/Travel\/201303%20LondonParis\/D5\/02\/M2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A: Paris Gare du Nord<br \/>\nB: Le Bar Long @ Le Royal Monceau<br \/>\nTotal walking distance | time = 0.65 km | 8 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I had made the reservations about a week before our trip. Le Bar Long was selected after nights of research on afternoon teas in Paris prior to this trip. Due to the heavily congested roundabout, visitors who wish to get to the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle are recommended to use the underpasses located at the Champs \u00c3\u2030lys\u00c3\u00a9es and the Avenue de la Grande Arm\u00c3\u00a9e. We didn&#8217;t get to the center, partially because we were lazy to walk over :). The sky was already dark and most of the stores were already closed \/ closing. \u00c2\u00a0It was drizzling and we didn&#8217;t have an umbrella.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lowsweetling.com\/mylife\/wp-content\/photos\/2013\/Travel\/201303%20LondonParis\/D5\/02\/IMG_7538.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Couldn&#8217;t remember what I used to cover my head. I looked silly but couldn&#8217;t care that much as I couldn&#8217;t afford to get sick then.
