This year, we decided to keep it simple by having lunch at Royal China @ Raffles. I had made reservations for 2 about a week earlier because it was New Year&#8217;s eve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lowsweetling.com\/mylife\/wp-content\/photos\/2012\/20121231%20Happy%20Birthday%20JR\/IMG_0113.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The restaurant was very empty when we were seated. We wondered why they refused to give us a bigger table so MIL and Jack could join us.
