11:00 AM It’s Snowing<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was the last day of our holiday! JR & I decided to skip breakfast and sleep in while JZ & Mm left the hotel very early in the morning as they had to catch their flight. It started snowing during the night and was still snowing when we left our hotel in the late morning. Poor JZ didn’t get to see the snow that he hoped to see.<\/p>\n

We had no itinerary for the last day so we just walked around in the snow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Wet streets<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was freezing…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Snow was getting stronger as we walked on.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

12:20 PM Shake Shack<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had to have the Shake Shack burgers once more before leaving NY!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

ShackBurger Double – AWESOME<\/p>\n

American cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and ShackSauce<\/p>\n

Cheeseburger and a ‘shroom burger topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce. ‘Shroom Burger is a crisp-fried portobello filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheese.<\/p>\n

13:55 PM Around NYC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Car covered with a thin layer of snow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We were back at Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

They were starting to remove the Christmas Tree. We were very lucky to catch the lighted Christmas tree the night before before it was removed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton stall – I love the way they use their products to form the animals.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

An owl<\/p>\n

A frog.. it looks angry<\/p>\n

16:55 PM Hampton Inn Manhattan \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Times Square North<\/strong><\/p>\n

We saw a limousine parking outside the hotel when we got back. We collected our luggage from the hotel lobby and JR arranged for a cab to get us to the airport. JR was grinning non-stop and told me what he had done.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And this was it…the cab that JR had arranged! Our first time on a real limousine! This is so much different from Singapore’s limo cab.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Grabbing a bite before boarding the plane.<\/p>\n

21:25 PM On board SQ25 – Back to Singapore<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our 21 hours flight back to Singapore, transitting at Frankfurt. Time for endless movies and meals once again.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dinner – Braised beef in red wine sauce served with buttered vegetables and mashed potato with Smoked salmon with pasta and vegetable salad<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

JR had Sweet and spicy general tso’s chicken served with selected vegetables and steamed rice<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Light bites – Spaghetti with tomato herb sauce and smoked turkey<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lunch – Gai yang rad ma kham, Thai style grilled chicken with tamarind sauce, vegetable curry and steamed rice, with Marinated seafood salad<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

JR had roast pork in caraway seed sauce, braised cabbage with bacon and potato dumpling<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Breakfast – Scambled egg served with bacon, mushroom and hash brown potato with yoghurt<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

JR had Braised egg noodles with Chicken, mushroom and onion<\/p>\n

We arrived back in Singapore on 9 Jun 2011 morning and realised that JZ & Mm were still stuck in Dubai!<\/p>\n
