We bought this trolley bag from the Undergroud city mall this morning to helped JR with the shopping items as he complained of the heavy stuff he carried the day before. With this bag, I will have less complains from JR and can continue with my shopping without interference. Hehe…<\/p>\n

Yes, we are back! Back for more shopping!<\/p>\n

Had Shabu Shabu for “lunch” at 3 PM. We were famished after all the shopping.<\/p>\n

Grew tired after lunch.. Headed back to the hotel to drop off our purchases.<\/p>\n

Our first attempt<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the map, Xi Men Ding is a stone’s throw away from Cosmos Hotel (about a MRT station away). With the map in hand, we attempted to walk to Xi Men Ding despite of the light rain. After sometime, we finally walked a MRT station away but we realised that we were walking in the opposite direction and we were then 2 MRT station away from our destination! Wanted to save some $$ in transportation but have to pay extra in the end.<\/p>\n

Once more<\/strong><\/p>\n

The map says that Huaxi Night market is nearby. We failed once more and had to take a taxi over to the night market.<\/p>\n

There wasn’t anything interesting at Huaxi Night market. JR caught sight of a snake performance – a man was ripping the skin off the snake! Lucky I wasn’t looking. It must be gruesome act.<\/span><\/p>\n

Long Shan Temple \u00e9\u00be\u008d\u00e5\u00b1\u00b1\u00e5\u00af\u00ba<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We dropped by LongShan Temple.<\/p>\n

We followed the others and queued at the huge lantern. This is tall JR praying under the lantern.<\/p>\n

Shilin Night Market \u00e5\u00a3\u00ab\u00e6\u017e\u2014\u00e5\u00a4\u0153\u00e5\u00b8\u201a (and again)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

For supper! Tonight we tried the \u00e5\u00a4\u00a7\u00e9\u00a4\u2026\u00e5\u0152\u2026\u00e5\u00b0\u008f\u00e9\u00a4\u2026. There are many different flavours. I took the original and JR chose the peanut and pork floss.<\/p>\n
