We woke up super early in the morning and caught the Hilton Shuttle Bus out to Shinjuku Station \u00e6\u2013\u00b0\u00e5\u00ae\u00bf\u00e9\u00a7\u2026. After some pre-calculations, we had decided to use our 1-day metro ticket pass.<\/p>\n

The Tsukiji Fish Wholesale Market is located near Tsukiji Station. It is made up of 2 sections – inner market (jonai shijo) and outer market (jogai shijo). The inner market is the licensed wholesale market where the auctions and fish processing take place. The outer market is a mixture of wholesale and retail shops that sells Japanese kitchens tools, restaurant supplies, groceries and seafood.<\/p>\n

09:30 AM In search of our Sashimi<\/strong><\/p>\n

We only visited a tiny section of the entire market before deciding to hunt for our Sashimi. Found the rows of restaurants.<\/p>\n

There are so many restaurants! We decided to choose between 2 restaurants with the longest queues and finally chosen \u00e5\u00a4\u00a7\u00e6\u00b1\u0178\u00e6\u02c6\u00b7 over \u00e4\u00bb\u00b2\u00e5\u00ae\u00b6.<\/p>\n

The wait wasn’t too long. We made our order while queuing hence was served shortly after seated. The restaurant is so small that it can only hold 20 customers in it. All customers are seated at the counter bar. NO PHOTOGRAPHY in the restaurant :(. Couldn’t even take photos illegally as the shop is too small.<\/p>\n

Both JR & I ordered the same set – Hokkaido Don. It consists of salmon sahimi, fresh scallops, crab and salmoe roe. This was the best japanese meal I ever had. Super marvelicious! And the price is reasonable too. Highly recommended to all! \"\"<\/p>\n
