20:00 PM Morton’s The Steakhouse

A – Orlando Premium Outlets International Drive
B – Morton’s The Steakhouse
Drive 6.1 KM, 9 mins

Once again at Morton’s after our last visit. I had made the reservation via Morton’s website the night before indicating it was going to be a birthday celebration for JR. Though it was 30th in Orlando, it was actually 31st Dec, 9 AM in Singapore.  We were celebrating JR’s birthday according to the time in Singapore. We arrived at exactly 8 PM and were brought to our table, which was decorated with confetti, similar to what was done to our table in our previous visit. The dim and cosy ambience of the restaurant is also similar to the one in Singapore.

What a surprise! Even the menu was personalised with “Happy Birthday, Junrong!” and the date.

The menu

Our expensive natural spring water – US $9.25 (before tax)

Not long after we were seated, a waiter pushed a trolley full of raw food over to our table and began introducing the different  ingredients that they have, the type & parts of a cow, the types of seafood, etc. Aware of the large portion of food that Morton’s will serve, the 4 of us decided to share a “Steak & Seafood for 2” meal and upgraded the size of the steak.

My portion of the steak. It didn’t look big but it was thick! JZ’s share was doubled because my MIL does not take beef and he had to take her steak.

Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake,

We were so full that we couldn’t finish one of the Hot Chocolate Cake and the broccoli. Kudos to JZ who managed to finish his steak.

Total damage… not as bad as expected. We had a great meal.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING!
