Date: 19 Aug 2009 Wednesday

We stayed all the way in our cabins until it was time for DINNER! We had the choice of having our meals at Bella Vista – Western, Pavillion Room – Chinese and Mediterranean Buffet – International. Moderate charges apply for the other a la carte restaurants on the cruise. Finally come to an agreement to have western food at Bella Vista, which starts serving dinner from 6 PM. There is a dress code for Bella Vista, which explains why we were still wearing our pants and shoes – smart causal (no shorts, swimwear, slippers, etc. allowed).

Mummy and WL with a random piece of painting along the way.

Finally found Bella Vista! We got slightly lost initially.

18:20 PM Bella Vista

Table for 4, please.

Waiting for the menu.

Bread served at every table. We finished all the bread.

Each of us gets to choose our own appetitzer, main course and dessert – we tried to order different items.

Appetitzer

Smoked Salmon

Bufflo Wings

Main Course

Broiled Pork Loin

with mushrooms and swiss cheese gratin, spinah spaezle and calvados sauce

The pork is too tough for our liking. My hands and mouth were aching by the time I finished the meat.

Fillet of Dory Baked with Fresh Herb

set on mushroom rice cake and served with grain mustard sauce

Fish is NICE!

Dessert

Coconut Pana Cotta Delight

covered with palm sugar caramel

Sliced Fresh Fruits in Season

Variety of International Cheese and Crakers

Sherbet of the Day

Tour around the cruise after our heavy dinner.

The menus for all the restaurants are displayed on the notice board at level 7.

We were back to the Grand Plazza once again.

We signed up for our snorkeling trip at the reception counter. Mummy & WL were not keen on snorkeling, hence they signed up for the trip to Laguna Pulau Redang Resort.

Went back to our cabins to take a short break before proceeding to The Lido at 20:30 PM for the Comedy & Juggling Show by Terry Parade. No photography allowed during the show, hence no photos. We returned to our cabins again after the show until we felt too bored. Took a night tour around the cruise.

23:30 PM Mediterranean Buffet – Supper

Soon it was time for SUPPER. There wasn’t any choice where to have supper as the Mediterranean Buffet restaurant is the only place serving.

Food didn’t look and taste fantastic – disappointing.

We retired to our cabins right after supper. Looking forward to the snorkeling trip.
