11:30 AM McNifico Bacon for Lunch

We shared a burger while queuing up at a money changer in a nearby shopping centre. We ran out of Brazilian Real and needed some cash for the rest of the day. We didn’t get our money in the end because they need our passports for registration and we left them in the hotel room!

The Municipal Market of Sao Paulo is the city’s trading wholesale and retail centre, specialising in the marketing of fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, spices and other food products. The market is located in the old center of Capital Paulista.

The Sao Paulo Metropolitan Cathedral is the 4th largest cathedral in the world.

15:00 PM Around Sao Paulo

We went back to the hotel to check out of our room. Since it was still early, we left luggage with the hotel reception and went out again.

We shared a curry puff from a random store.

Most consumed apple soda in Brazil, the Guarana apple drink.

Oriental pork in sweet and sour sauce, stirfried vegetables and steamed rice… with celeriac salad with smoked salmon and chocolate coconut cake.

Vegetable omelette with pork sausage, mushrooms, herb marinated tomato and potatoes… with fruits, yoghurt and breakfast roll.

Stewed beef in Malaga sweet wine with roasted vegetables and red pepper mashed potatoes.

Wok fried chicken and bamboo shoots in sesame oil… with Celeriac root salad with shrimp and Belgium chocolate mousse.

Omelette with mushroom, chicken sausages, roasted tomato and potatoes… with fruits, yoghurt and breakfast rolls.

Stirfried egg noodles with pork, chinese chives and cabbage.

WE ARE BACK!!! We missed home!
